ECOserver model EEB/EEP is our most versatile server platform. A compact housing gives a lot of flexibility in mounting, and the many build options such as power supply voltage, capacity and power make this an ideal platform to propose for projects for multiple sites and differing conditions and mounting requirements at those sites. Developed as a result of demand of customers in search of a small compact server with the power of a regular server.

 

 

ECOserver model EEB/EEP is typically used in multiple repeat installation sites such as the retail market, where it can be installed in a convenient cupboard or underneath a counter –w herever is safest and most convenient site by site. The power supply cable is locked, to the server so as to prevent it from accidentally becoming detached. In terms of processors we can fit a very competitively priced ATOM processor, up to a powerful Core i7, so that even powerful applications will not pose a problem. For building into a 19-inch rack, we have a Rackmount kit available.

 

 

ECOserver saves Energy!
ECOserver models EEB and EEP were developed from the viewpoint of housing (for flexible installation) and functionality as well as to optimise and reduce energy consumption. The ventilation fan is a low energy type of 80 mm, with the possibility to place a second ventilator fan, if necessary. A DVD is also absent, it is mostly used incidentally, after which it unnecessarily consumes energy. Where an ATOM solution and Solid State Disk are opted for, consumption will amount to approximately 20 Watts, making this an extremely economical server to run..

ECOserver model EEB & EEP Expansion possibilities

Model EEB has the possibility to place one additional I/O card. This may be a PCI or PCI Express card, depending on the motherboard.

The basic difference between EEB and EEP models is that the EEP model is equipped with a 4-port PoE card with a capacity of 15,4 Watts per port, making it an ideal server for hosting a digital IP camera network.

General Model EEB is the 2nd generation ECOserver specially designed for IP security and embedded applications. The chassis offers flexible mounting options and offers a wide choice of internal components so as to meet your application needs exactly.

 

Specific properties ECOserver model EEB is a 2U 19” rack mounted server that can alternatively be screwed to a wall, or to appropriate furniture. It comes with an AC 230V power supply. The excellent cooling (there is one 80mm fan fitted as standard and a second fan can be specified as an option) is sufficient to accommodate processors up to Intel® Core® i7 and Intel® XEON® CPUs. Ecoserver model EEB has a spare slot, so an additional card can be added for extra functionality, and it is also possible to ad an extra I/O card.

General ECOserver model EEP is a compact server especially designed for the Security Industry and incorporating state of the art technology. It can be equipped with Solid State Drives and a wide range of processors. Using Long Life components we can guarantee to deliver the server for several years in the same configuration. As a Microsoft partner we can supply servers with Windows XP Professional until the end of 2016. The integrated PoE switch allows you to directly connect 4 PoE cameras. Used together with a small UPS, ECOserver provides a standalone solution that even records pictures if the mains power fails.

 

Specific properties Model EEP can be delivered in different varieties. For this model we use Long Life motherboards. We support Intel® Celeron® P4500 and Intel® Core® i5-520M CPUs. One or two hard disk drives can be placed for the OS and storage. Model EEP is fitted with one fan standard, but a second fan can be specified as an option.
